YouTube is a place for creators to share their awesome videos to Potential viewers and it seems that everyone who’s younger than 40 is on YouTube with the wide range of Family channels, Gaming channels and more.
I started my channel on May 4th 2020 and it’s been well cool I guess. It was fun trying something new, even though I knew it wasn’t going to be a fairy tale story I kept dreaming. I didn’t officially upload a video till June 2nd 2020. But my first video wasn’t actually mine, now the dramatic music. Most people would make their videos themselves but I didn’t my friend actually made the first video on the channel because I wasn’t too familiar with the topic I wanted to cover on my first video. At this point I should stop calling it my video.
It was cool finally having a video uploaded after almost a month of the channel being inactive. It wasn’t fun though when I checked the channel analytics, even though I knew it wasn’t going to be a fairy tale story I still believed hours passed and I still had 0 views, i decide to share the video with my friends and it got like 5 views it was fun seeing the numbers go up and right now that same video has 40 views watch it here(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syBvM9yqpaA)
Though I was getting views from my friends it felt kind of weird that every video I upload I had to share it. Don’t get me wrong I was getting views up to the 40’s and 50’s but it felt wrong that I would have to share my videos all the time and some of my friends didn’t even like the content because they weren’t techies. I shared my videos far an wide but not everyone I know is a programmer so what the heck was I supposed to do, tell my friends who don’t program to watch my videos so that I can get views that would be selfish but that was the route I took, because even though YouTube is held highly by all Gen-Z’s there are some things you need to know. For your video to get recommended to Potential viewers you need to have a credible amount of views going into the thousands. So what was I supposed to do not share my videos to my friends and get no views, you have to understand I need a good amount of views for my videos to be recommended to others so why not have my friends watch my videos get some views that don’t harm anyone and see whether I get recommended to anyone. The only problem with this is that I don’t have over a thousand friends and so if I don’t have a thousand friends I don’t get recommended to potential viewers.

Let’s get away from the bad stories about my channel and how I need 1000 friends to get real viewers.
Back to the title I guess
Starting a YouTube channel has really helped me step out of my comfort zone and making tutorials on YouTube is not in anyway comfortable at all you have to learn the language/framework even if you already knew it before you have to do some research which takes sometime. Starting a YouTube channel has also helped me implement time tables in my life, a time for recording video,s a time for study and more. I am not the best YouTuber my channel is not the best what am I saying it’s crap, but I am taking up a challenge let’s see where it takes me.
I am going to be taking my channel to the next level by finally editing videos but until I get a free editor that won’t crash my system, my channel will continue. “Life goes on”
